We introduce high-quality and high-value-added health technology products and services that can improve human security, add efficiency to their activities, contribute to prevention and public education, and promote healthy lifestyle habits. Besides strengthening the competitiveness of the cluster organizations in the domestic and export markets we also promote the latest and most effective production and management technologies, business and science cooperation in research and development activities, as well as youth entrepreneurship and public awareness of wellness.
 
We aim to become a recognized cluster both in domestic and external markets as a dynamic, cooperation-enhancing, and innovation-stimulating entity. Today health technology cluster iVita connects strong and highly competent innovative Lithuanian organizations that have long-term business experience and high management and technical potential that puts a strong base for rich business-oriented activities towards higher competitiveness and further expansion.

Cluster competences

Accumulated long-term experience, knowledge, and main activities of organizations that have joined into a wellness cluster permits us to have these different, but focused on a single and common wellness area competencies:

  • Application of functional and smart textile solutions in the development of wellness products
  • Knowledge and experience in effective nutrition and food supplement use across various wellness areas
  • Strong foundation in mechanics, biomechanics, and physiology
  • Extensive experience in developing and applying mechanical and electrical engineering solutions
  • Optimal use of existing rehabilitation methodologies and tools, as well as the development of new ones
  • Enhancing workplace safety by improving existing tools and processes and creating new ones
  • Application of IT in the development of new high value‑added products and processes

 

Health technology cluster iVita is a group of companies sharing the goal of enhancing cooperation and synergy in the development of wellness products. By combining the expertise mentioned, we can create wellness products oriented towards these wellness areas:

Structure

The cluster’s organizational structure was established in June 2011.

Mission - Why we exist?

Together, we develop, support, and promote health technologies and biotechnologies knowledge sharing, innovation, R&D, networking, and collaboration focusing on the public health sector and its actors.

Vision – Who do we want to be?

To become a cohesive, dynamic, and competitive health technology cluster in Europe that interacts with the public health sector and is recognized nationally and internationally. 

Goals – To turn the cluster’s vision into reality, we set the following objectives:

  • Seeking direct economic benefits for the companies participating in the cluster by using various tools available within the cluster, such as the knowledge base, expertise, sales platform, and similar resources.

  • Building a knowledge base required for the development of the cluster, for R&D activities, and for carrying out various joint initiatives, and sharing this knowledge within the cluster.

  • Accumulating diverse expertise and sharing it within the cluster through meetings, seminars, and consultations.

  • Increasing the competitiveness of cluster members in the market by using the accumulated knowledge base, diversified expertise, internal projects, and other tools available to the cluster.

  • Creating new added value by using the knowledge and expertise accumulated in the cluster to develop new products or services, or to enhance existing ones.

  • Developing a unified cluster brand that enables clear positioning of new or existing members’ products, delivering a clear and understandable message to consumers about the nature, value, and quality of these products.

  • Creating a shared sales platform that includes sales networks, e‑commerce tools, marketing tools, and informational tools.

  • Conducting scientific research necessary for creating new added value by developing new products or giving unique properties to existing ones.

  • Disseminating information to inform the public, businesses, and the state about the cluster’s activities and results, thereby increasing the cluster’s visibility and recognition.

  • Creating a mechanism that enables individual cluster members or groups of members to correctly select suitable individual projects.

  • Implementing joint projects aimed at cluster development, the creation of new products, or the improvement of existing ones.

  • Attracting external investment for cluster development, new product creation, or R&D activities.
