Development and Strengthening of Export Markets for UAB “SatiMed”

Participation in international exhibitions is a meaningful investment that promotes business growth, technological advancement, and export market expansion.

For companies in Lithuania’s biotechnology sector, increasing export volumes each year is essential. Therefore, participation in international exhibitions is particularly important for improving profitability, advancing technologies, and identifying new business development opportunities.

By taking part in targeted international exhibitions, UAB “SatiMed” considers this a valuable investment. It provides opportunities to present the company’s activities and unique biotechnological capabilities, meet existing clients and partners, and explore the latest innovations in medical, cosmetic, and functional food technologies. It also allows the company to assess competitors’ progress, search for new clients, and attend specialized seminars held during exhibitions.

For this purpose, in 2019 UAB “SatiMed” launched the project “Development and Strengthening of Export Markets for UAB ‘SatiMed’” under the 2014–2020 EU Funds Investment Action Programme for Lithuania, Priority 3 “Promoting the Competitiveness of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises,” Measure No. 03.2.1-LVPA-K-801 “New Opportunities LT.”
The total eligible project budget amounts to EUR 87,476.00. The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

The project aims to maintain, strengthen, and expand the company’s export position by participating in international exhibitions during 2019–2020. These exhibitions will showcase products developed under the company’s own technological patents and licenses, intended for healthy living. UAB “SatiMed” exports the majority of its production to the United States, making it essential to further strengthen its position in the world’s largest market while also seeking new opportunities within the European Union.
