UAB “SatiMed,” as the project implementer, started the project “Implementation of an E-commerce Model for UAB ‘SatiMed’” (No. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-860-01-1130) on February 10, 2022. The project is carried out under the 2014–2020 EU Funds Investment Action Programme, Priority 13 “Promoting actions to overcome the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and preparing for a green, digital, and sustainable economic recovery,” Measure No. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-860 “E-commerce Model COVID-19.”

The total eligible project budget amounts to EUR 31,388.00, of which EUR 23,541.00 is allocated to the project implementer. The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The project is implemented from February 10, 2022, to September 30, 2022.

COVID-19 negatively affected many businesses in Lithuania. To accelerate economic recovery, the project aims to help the company overcome the impact of the pandemic, promote entrepreneurship and competitiveness, and increase revenue. UAB “SatiMed” has developed new products—epigenetic food supplements—and to introduce them to target markets, the implementation of an e-commerce model is required. This will enable the company to sell new products in selected markets, attract new customers, shorten the supply chain, and create greater added value.

During the project, an e-commerce model will be implemented to provide the company with a competitive advantage and contribute to export growth and increased revenue.

Project objective:
To encourage the company to implement IT solutions for managing business transactions electronically and increase revenue growth. The project will develop and implement an e-commerce model focused on customer self-service and designed to increase sales of epigenetic food supplements.

Project benefits:
The project will result in a new digital solution, creating additional added value, positively impacting the company’s entrepreneurship, revenue growth, and overall development.

After implementation, the company will increase its sales capacity and productivity, serve customers faster and more efficiently, and ensure flexibility and quality. The project will significantly contribute to improved performance, competitiveness, innovation development, and the company’s ability to implement new solutions.
