The Health Technology Cluster iVita , together with 21 partners from 13 European regions, has launched a new EU-funded project, “Implementation of Remote Health Innovation Scale-Up” (IRHIS).
The project is funded by the European Union’s I3-2023-INV2a programme and will run from September 2, 2024, to September 1, 2027.
The aim of the project is to accelerate the development and adoption of advanced remote healthcare technologies in the healthcare sector. IRHIS will focus in particular on the implementation of AI-powered sensor solutions, wearable devices, and remote monitoring technologies in three key health areas: musculoskeletal rehabilitation, neurological disorder treatment, and monitoring of critically ill patients.
The project will develop 8 innovative technologies created by EU MedTech small and medium-sized enterprises. It aims to integrate growing companies from less developed regions into global value chains, thereby promoting the adoption of innovative remote care solutions.
