Kaunas paid tribute to outstanding city figures, including leaders of organizations that are members of Health Technology Cluster iVita. Marking Statehood Day, also known as the Day of the Coronation of King Mindaugas, Santaka Honour Badges, Culture Prizes, and awards of appreciation were presented for promoting the name of Kaunas and contributing to the city.
The solemn ceremony was traditionally held near Kaunas Castle during the festival Operetta at Kaunas Castle, which took place for the 20th time and gathered thousands of spectators.
Our sincere congratulations go to Prof. Dr. Diana Rėklaitienė, Rector of the Lithuanian Sports University, who was awarded the 2nd degree Santaka Honour Badge, and Rūta Jasienė, Head of the public institution Saugi pradžia, part of the SDG Group, who received the 3rd degree Santaka Honour Badge.
