A free training course has been developed on public procurement of innovation. The training is designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that would like to participate in this type of public procurement tender. It can also serve as a support tool for public authorities and adults who want to deepen their knowledge on this topic.

The course offers approximately 30 hours of training across five different modules:
- Introduction to public procurement for SMEs – providing a general overview of this instrument, its advantages, and key financial aspects.
- Public tenders – helping participants develop the necessary skills to understand and respond to public tenders, read tender documents, and prepare their proposals.
- Public procurement of innovative solutions (PPI) and pre-commercial procurement (PCP) – presenting different ways in which innovation can be acquired through public procurement.
- Tender monitoring and support – explaining how to search for tenders and where to find external assistance.
- Project and innovation management – introducing the basics of successfully managing and monitoring a PPI project.
Learners can plan their learning journey at a convenient time, as the course is available online through an e-learning platform completely free of charge.
