The international conference “Active Training and Aging” has just concluded in Vilnius, taking place on September 29-30. The event brought together well-known athletes, coaches, sports and healthy lifestyle specialists, and researchers who shared their experience and insights.
This year’s conference covered four highly relevant topics: activity, relaxation, society, and technologies.


On the first day of the conference, considerable attention was given to wellness and sports technologies, as well as the issue of aging. On the second day, the focus shifted to the quality of sports and wellness, and the relationship between healthy lifestyles, the latest technologies, and social media.


A large group of experts delivered presentations representing the four main conference topics:
Activity: Renata Ago (Hungary), Tomaž Brinec (Slovenia), Marius Bulbovas (Lithuania), Artūras Sujeta (Lithuania), Audronė Vizbarienė (Lithuania), Laimis Bartasūnas (Lithuania), Vidmantas Šiugždinis (Lithuania).
Relaxation: Simona Pajaujienė (Lithuania), Albertas Skurvydas (Lithuania).
Society: Vlada Musvydaitė (Lithuania), Artūras Lebedenko (Lithuania), Vytautas Medineckas (Lithuania), Audrius Kalvaitis (Lithuania).
Technologies: Paulius Briedis (Lithuania), Marius Šilenskis (Lithuania), Aurimas Mačiukas (Lithuania), Vlada Musvydaitė (Lithuania).
The event was moderated by Audrius Kalvaitis.


The conference took place during the Vilnius Sports and Culture Festival, where members of Health Technology Cluster iVita also presented their products and services, including Ortopedijos technika, Sveikatinė, Audimas, Lympo, Maistas sportui, and Sportpoint.
