On July 24, 2017, De Futuro signed a grant agreement with the Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA) for the financing of the project “Development of a prototype using data analysis and statistical methods to identify a person’s condition from cardiac signals.”
The project is funded under the 2014–2020 European Union Funds Investment Operational Programme, Priority 1 “Promotion of Research, Experimental Development and Innovation”, measure No. 01.2.1-MITA-K-824 Innovation Vouchers. Up to EUR 2,113.20 in project funding will be allocated to cover eligible project costs.
The aim of the project is to develop a prototype that would make it possible to identify a person’s physical condition and inform them about potential issues. This includes selecting indicators and methods for calculating them from cardiac signals, taking into account signal quality and system performance, in order to help prevent more serious cardiological problems.
During the project, De Futuro plans to cooperate with and purchase services from the Baltic Institute of Advanced Technology.
