On 17-18 September 2026, Health Technology Cluster iVita, together with partners of the IRHIS project, will participate in The HIVE 2026 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The event will bring together representatives of the business, technology and innovation ecosystems, as well as startups, investors and policymakers.
On 17 September, IRHIS technology partners will present the remote healthcare solutions being developed within the project and their potential practical applications at the MedTech Buzz Demo Zone at Inter Expo Center Sofia. Individual meetings with representatives of the business, investment and innovation ecosystems are also planned.
On 18 September, Toplocentrala – Regional Center for Contemporary Arts will host the MedTech Buzz programme. It will feature presentations of the IRHIS project and its three interregional DemoScale Labs, an S3 Policy Round Table and a Reverse Pitching session bringing together venture capital investors and local startups.
Dr Kęstutis Morkūnas, representing Health Technology Cluster iVita, will be one of the speakers in the session “Demo: From Lab to Scale”. Together with other IRHIS partners, he will present the project and its DemoScale Labs.
iVita will also participate in the S3 Policy Round Table, “What Stops Good Innovation from Reaching the Market?”, which will address the barriers preventing promising innovations from reaching the market. The event will provide an opportunity to showcase the solutions being developed within IRHIS, establish new connections and strengthen cooperation among health technology developers, investors, institutions and policymakers.
